Coast Guard
The customer was completely refurbishing crew accommodations right down to the steel deck. They required a vibration absorbing material to reduce noise in the Crew areas. (Dex-O-Tex Elastavistic). The “red” vibration absorbing material was added first and then consecutive layers of material was added to raise the floor level to a point where the finished product (carpet) was installed.
